Is my mum a supermum?

I asked my mum if she considered herself as a supermum and she replied that shw wasn’t. So i asked her who can be a supermum. She said that a supermum is someone who can juggle between her career and children. I agree with her. Although i personally think that my mum is a supermum. She is able to do the same things over everyday and she doesn’t complain. When aske why she was not willing to work again, my mum said that she feared that she might not have the ability to work anymore. In my opinion, most women who quit their jobs to look after her children fear that they lack the confidence and ability to return to work after a few years. My auntie who has been looking after her kids for about 10 years when she decided to work again. At first, she was unale to cope with the job as she was inexperienced. But after a while she got used to it. I think that it will be difficult to cope in the beginning but it will be easier after you have familiarise yourself with the job. In all, I would like to conclude that no matter who your mums are, they are all supermums!!!

MOM WITH 3 KIDS OF DIFFERENT AGES
This is an example of a supermom who has to juggle work family and husband. She has 3 kids, a toddler, a 12-year-old daughter and a 16-year-old teenager. Her oldest daughter is sitting for her O’levels while her younger daughter is going for her PSLE this year. She has to devote her time to helping her daughters prepare for their major exams and still care for her 3 year-old son. Many people now turn to maids to relief their workload such as the household chores and meals.

Supermom in hollywood
This is another example of a woman who has a sucessful career and yet still adopts and bears children of her own. It is none other than Angelina Jolie! An actress is no easy job, they have to memorise lines and recording a movie takes months or even years! Maybe actresses have money to engage nannys for their children, but in this picture she takes time to spend with her children. I hope more actors or actresses will care more for their children and not divorce all the time. This affects their children and they should also make time for their children.

Story Time!!!!!!!!

Belinda, Therese, Tabitha and Natalie will be telling your a short story about Charles, his Mummy and his family. ;]] Yay!! Hold your applause till the end!

Once there was a boy named Charles. Charles ordered his mom around everyday and made her do a lot of work while he just sat there and played computer games. Finally, his mom got tired of doing everything. She gave Charles a lecture and tried all sorts of ways to show Charles how tiring it was to do everything she even went out day and left him to himself, but to no avail. Charles continued to leave everything for his mother to do, until one day his mother collapsed from exhaustion. Charles was shocked and started crying. He felt remorseful for making his mother do so many things. He went to a doctor for help and he gave him the X potion. But he gave him too much of it. So, when Charles gave his mother the X potion, she regained consciousness and transformed into SUPERMOM! It was a really good thing, because she was never tired ever again but she didn’t need to do everything anymore as Charles had learnt his lesson. He helped his mother to do the chores and learned to be a helpful boy!He grew up to be very responsible!!!!

Now wasn’t that a good moral story.

Well, I think that supermoms are amazing. They are able to juggle their career, household and children. Not everyone are able to do that. D; that’s sad ain’t it? T^T But if I think about it more, I think that all mothers are super. They carry you in their big fat tummy for 9 months and they had to push you out of their.. (you should know what i mean. ;D ) and can you imagine how painful that was? They look after you in your first few years of living, waking up in the middle of the night because you were there crying so loudly, teached you how to walk etc. They had to work and look after their children, they might even have to do household chores. That is very tiring. ;[[ Have you ever heard them complain? No right? Well, they might actually complain. ;X Still, they continued to look after you.

My mom does not do the housework. She wakes up at 5am+ to go to work and she comes back at 10 11+ but she makes an effort to ensure that my sisters and i are studying and if we are well or not. She nags at us to tidy our table, scolds us for the things we have done wrong but doesn’t this show how much she cares for us? ;D I personally think that my mom is super but sometimes i seriously cannot stand her nagging. D;;[[ Of course, it is our fault that they nag at us but .. do they need to nagg everyday? ;X Oh no, i’m complaining about my mom now and i was supposed to tell your about moms being super. O.o From what i just said (not including my complains) , all moms are super.

I can’t interview my mom as she comes home very late. She needs to get some rest. See, I’m so good. I do not disturb my mom when she needs her rest. ;D

Just to summarise, all moms are super and they deserve our respect. When we are older, our moms no longer can walk around often and we need to care for them like how they cared for us when we were much younger. They are caring for us now, and they always will. Supermoms are not only people who can juggle their career , household and children and still achieve many things. Mothers who scold and nag at their children are also supermoms. They care and love you but they just expressed it in another way. I dont really know how to explain it but i think all mothers are super. This looks out-of-point. D; Last but not least, treasure you mother. If you start to realise how important they are to you when they are gone, it will be too late to regret it. LONG LIVE MUMMY! xD . I just realised how long-winded I am. T^T

I interviewed my mummy, these are the answers..

Q.1 Do you think you are a supermum? ans: NO!

Q.2 Do you wish you wish you were a supermum? ans: Well, no.

Q.3 If yes or no, why? ans: I’ll be drained full of my energy.

Q.4 How do you feel about supermums? ans: They need lots of energy.

They have to look after their children, keep their home clean, look into meals and look after the well being of their family. On top of that, they still have to handle their career. They do it without any need for recognition. Many of their good works, unwavering commitment and support to keep the family going, go unrecognised and uncelebrated. But Supermoms keep on going.”

For me, I think we take our mothers for granted. We say,”She’s our mother, she’s supposed to take care of us.” When we fall sick, she takes care of us. When she falls sick, our lives go on and we are only mildly inconvenienced. You’ll never see a comic
or a movie on Supermothers. But they are better than any of that, because they are real. Mothers are like teabags, you only realize how strong they are when they are in hot water.
We should learn to appreciate them before they are gone.

What are supermums?
Supermums are mothers who are able to juggle their work, children and housework and still achieve many things. Young people nowadays no longer think that having a high-flying job and a family is a realistic ambition.

An example of a supermom
Rayna Warriner has 9 children in 9 years, and she still wants a 10th baby. She spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. They spend 170 pounds a week on food bills, and as a result of rising food prices, they have not been on a holiday in three years. They struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accomodate so many children. They admit they do not have much of a social life, but they do not feel that they are missing out on anything.
